Our Fellowship program provides a supportive environment to acquire best-in-class knowledge, procedural skills, and the clinical experience necessary to become excellent independent practitioners and lifetime learners. Fellows training here have the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population with high acuity and complexity, under the mentorship of dynamic nationally recognized faculty. Academic Activity at Inova

Academic activity is also a high priority for Inova Schar Heart and Vascular faculty, with 320 peer-reviewed publications in 2021 along with presentations and invited talks at nearly every major cardiovascular meeting.

As a new and rapidly ascending program committed to clinical and academic excellence we hope to train cardiovascular disease fellows with the same mindset.
