- The addition of three new floors to Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
- 60 new private rooms
- An expanded Rehabilitation Unit and Joint Replacement Unit
- Five new "fast track" bays to the Emergency Department to further streamline delivery of care
- Two new operating rooms
