ACTION REQUIRED: Change to Inova Citrix Access via non-Inova Devices

Team members MUST complete this switch to Microsoft MFA by Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023. Please reinforce the following actions required with impacted team members as necessary.

If you are already using Inova Microsoft Teams or SharePoint outside of the Inova network:

You already have a Microsoft Cloud MFA profile, you need to update your Citrix log in to use the new Microsoft MFA. Follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to the Inova Citrix portal
  2. Login using your Inova credentials (Username and Password).
  3. Enter your email address on the next screen. If you have not been assigned an email account, please use the following exact format: FirstName.LastName@inova.org.
  4. Next, log into the Microsoft Cloud using your email address and Inova password.
  5. Follow the instruction to verify your identity.
  6. Select yes or no to reduce the number of times to log in.
  7. You will be taken to the Citrix screen once you make your selection.

If you are not using any Inova Microsoft Cloud applications outside of the Inova network:

Follow the steps to enroll in Microsoft Cloud MFA, then follow the instructions above.

Provides remote access to Inova applications.

Provides remote access to the Inova Radiology system for authorized referring Physicians and business partners. 
Note: This access method requires a connection client.

Inova Supported Configuration for Remote Access:

  • Windows 7 SP1 or higher with Internet Explorer 11 or newer
  • Additional Windows Browsers Supported: Chrome (v64.x and higher); Firefox (v45.x and above)

Non-Inova Supported Configurations* for Remote Access:

  • Mac OS X version 10.12 and above
  • Additional Mac Browsers supported: Chrome (v64.x and higher); Firefox (v45.x and above)

If your PC meets the requirements outlined above, a connection client will be provided after successful log on. If you already have a connection client installed, and it is older than the required client, you will be offered the opportunity to upgrade it after successfully logging on.
