Patient-Friendly MRI

The Inova HealthPlex – Lorton is pleased to announce that we are now offering more comfortable and convenient MRI scans with the GE SIGNA Architect 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Benefits to patients include:

  • Noise reduction technology makes for a more quiet, pleasant experience
  • Most studies can be done feet-first, creating a more comfortable setting for claustrophobic patients
  • Free-breathing technology means patients do not have to hold their breath for studies
  • Wide-bore machine offers more space and greater comfort during scans
  • GE Architect offers shorter scan times than most other MRI machines
  • Top-of-the-line 3T magnet provides the highest quality, most clear images available for more confident diagnoses
  • Technologists can pause a study if a patient moves or become uncomfortable, eliminating the need to repeat portions of a scan

By minimizing scan times and improving image quality, this new technology provides the benefit of a more comfortable procedure and better diagnostic capability for your physician.
