Dr. Zain Sultan is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2021 and has been practicing since 2017.
Dr. Sultan has a special interest in the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and chronic pain through lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise. He enjoys treating patients of all ages, from adolescents to older adults. Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Sultan worked as an outpatient family physician for a community health organization located in Alexandria, VA. A native of Atlanta, Dr. Sultan graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in industrial and systems engineering. After working in business, he went to medical school specifically to become a primary care physician specializing in disease prevention. Dr. Sultan enjoys working with patients to help them achieve their personal lifestyle and health goals. He provides accurate and essential health knowledge, while collaborating closely with patients to help them achieve their health and lifestyle goals.
Dr. Sultan enjoys connecting with people from all backgrounds and speaks Spanish, Urdu and Hindi. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and other forms of exercise, visual arts such as photography, and learning about emerging technologies.
