Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Roma A. Edoo-Sowah, MD

Dr. Roma Edoo-Sowah joined Inova with 21 years of medical practice experience and is board certified in internal and geriatric medicine. Prior to joining Inova, she worked in Washington, DC, as a medical director at Providence Hospital and an assistant clinical professor of medicine at George Washington University Hospital. She has a special interest in preventive medicine, hypertension and women’s health.

Dr. Edoo-Sowah decided to become a physician because of her father, an internist and neurologist, who is her role model. The favorite part of her job is interacting with people from various walks of life and being involved in making a marked improvement on the physical and emotional well being of her patients. Dr. Edoo-Sowah endeavors to involve her patients in all medical decisions. She enjoys exercising, reading and traveling.
