With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Richard F. Neville, MD

Dr. Richard Neville is the Associate Director of Inova Schar Heart and Vascular and Director, Vascular, Wound and Hyperbaric services.

Dr. Neville joined Inova with more than 25 years of clinical experience. He has consistently been named to the Best Doctors in America and Washingtonian Top Doctors. His clinical interests include lower extremity revascularization, wound healing, amputation prevention, carotid artery treatment for stroke prevention, as well as hemodialysis access.

Most recently, Dr. Neville served as a professor in the Department of Surgery and as the Ludwig chief of vascular surgery at George Washington University. Prior to that position, he was chief of vascular surgery at Georgetown University. He also serves as Professor of Medical Education, University of Virginia, Inova campus.

A native of Maryland, Dr. Neville currently resides in Vienna, VA, with his wife, five children and three rescue dogs. When not absorbed by family and work, his other passion is road cycling.
