Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Nicholas R. Balaji, MD

Nicholas Balaji, MD, is a specialty care cardiologist board certified in interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. He joined Inova Medical Group in 2013. He has a special interest in the management of coronary artery disease and radial artery catheterization for diagnostic and therapeutic coronary interventions.

Dr. Balaji became interested in cardiology because of the continuing technological advances within the field. His goal is to help promote cardiovascular health, and to develop a collaborative treatment plan to prevent future illness, manage chronic conditions, and improve quality of life for patients and their families.

A native of Rochester, New York, Dr. Balaji currently resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife and two young children. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, jog, and purse his interest in photography.
