Nathan McGwin is a physician assistant at Inova.
Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where he graduated with highest honors. He earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society for graduates in allied health fields. He enjoys teaching in the classroom and the clinic and serves as a guest lecturer and clinical associate professor at The George Washington University, and was the 2023 recipient of the Dr. Jules Cahan Distinguished Teaching Award for The George Washington University Physician Assistant Program.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking and being outdoors, film, reading and spending time with his family.
