Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Mehreen Z. Husain, MD

Dr. Mehreen Husain is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and internal medicine. She has a special interest in the management of diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders.

Dr . Husain became interested in endocrinology because of her appreciation for the way small amounts of hormones impact the body in significant ways. Her goal is to help her patients manage their endocrine issues to lead healthier, more productive lives. She loves to meet new people and build long term relationships with them.

Dr. Husain is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society. Dr. Husain currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
