About Meaghan Roy-O'Reilly, MD, PhD

Dr. Meaghan Roy-O’Reilly is a specialty care physician board certified in neuro-oncology. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2021.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Roy-O’Reilly completed her neurology residency at Stanford University, followed by a fellowship in neuro-oncology. She specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of patients with brain and spinal cord tumors.

Dr. Roy-O’Reilly is a passionate advocate for multidisciplinary care, working closely with medical oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, and other specialists to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient. Her clinical interests include the management of primary brain tumors, secondary brain metastases, and leptomeningeal disease.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Roy-O’Reilly is actively involved in research, focusing on innovative treatment approaches through clinical trials and novel therapeutic strategies.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys rescuing dogs and is committed to fostering a compassionate, empathetic environment for both her patients and their families.
