Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Matthew D. Williams, MD

Dr. Matthew Williams is a specialty care physician board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Inova Health System. He has been in practice since 2004.

Dr. Williams’ clinical areas of interest include adult cystic fibrosis, resistant asthma and interstitial lung disease. He has been recognized for fifteen years running as a Washingtonian "Top Doc" in the Washington, DC, region. He has won several teaching awards and works closely with Inova’s medical students and residents. Dr. Williams' patients say he is the doctor they hope to meet when thinking about a challenge they are facing and needing the best.

Outside the office, Dr. Williams enjoys singing or playing the guitar with his old college bandmates. He also loves making weekend trips to visit his twin daughters, who are away at college.
