Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Mabel C. Chan, MD

Dr. Mabel Chan is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. She joined Inova in 2024 and has been practicing since 2018.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Chan was a fellow in the department of vascular surgery at MedStar Georgetown – Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

Dr. Chan completed her general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital West in New York with subsequent vascular surgery fellowship at Medstar Georgetown University-Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

In her practice, Dr. Chan sees patients with complex vascular pathology spanning aortic, carotid artery, venous occlusive, deep venous, and peripheral arterial diseases. She has a special interest in limb preservation, including treatment for claudication and critical limb ischemia. She offers both open and endovascular catheter-based (balloon and stent) interventions.
