About Jose Leonardo R. Sioco, MD

Dr. Jose Sioco is a primary care physician board certified in family medicine at Inova Health System. He joined Inova in 2021 and has been practicing since 2010.

Dr. Sioco has a special interest in management of preventive medicine, geriatric medicine and chronic medical conditions such as Type 2 diabetes. He became interested in family medicine because he believes in building relationships and taking care of patients across generations. Dr. Sioco’s goal is to help educate his patients about their risk factors, modify their health related behaviors and improve their chronic medical conditions to lead happy and healthy lives.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Sioco worked as a primary care physician in Eugene, OR.

A native of Manila, Philippines, Dr. Sioco currently resides in Alexandria, VA, with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, autocross racing, cooking and traveling.
