Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

About Johnathan A. Bernard, MD

Dr. Johnathan Bernard is an orthopaedic surgeon board certified in orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Bernard specialized in shoulder, knee, and arthroscopic surgery. His clinical areas of interest include sports-related injuries, cartilage injuries, meniscal tears, ACL injuries, rotator cuff disorders, labral tears, shoulder arthritis, and complex knee and shoulder conditions. Dr. Bernard completed his surgical residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital; his sports medicine and shoulder fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery; and an AO Trauma fellowship at University Hospital in Geneve, Switzerland.

Dr. Bernard is a team physician for the Washington Commanders and is an adjunct Assistant Professor for the department of orthopaedic surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Dr. Bernard is a member of the NFL Physician Society, AAOS, AANA, and AOSSM. He is a previous team physician for the New York Giants, D.C. United, and Loudoun United.
