Holiday Hours

With the exception of Inova hospitals, Inova Emergency Care and Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care, all Inova outpatient offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays – Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

About Homayoun A. Hashemi, MD

Dr. Homayoun Hashemi is a specialty care physician board certified in General and Vascular Surgery at Inova Health System. He is a registered Vascular Technologist and Peripheral Vascular interpreter. He currently practices only vascular surgery. He specializes in the management of aortic aneurysms (open and minimally invasive technique), carotid artery surgery, dialysis access, laser treatment of varicose veins and treatment of blockages in all arteries.

Dr. Hashemi serves as Chairman, Department of Surgery and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

Dr. Hashemi became interested in vascular surgery because he could help his patients by performing minimally invasive endovascular procedures as well as open surgery to treat a variety of vascular issues to help improve the quality of life for his patients. He joins the Inova Medical Group from Virginia Surgery Associates.

A native of Iran, Dr. Hashemi currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and family. In his spare time he likes to travel, swim, and spend time with family.
