Cecilia “Rea” Garcia is a cardiology nurse practitioner. She joined Inova in 2015 as a registered nurse and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2021.
Prior to joining Inova, Cecilia worked as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. She worked in cardiac telemetry prior to her critical care experience. Throughout the years, Cecilia has developed an interest in health promotion and disease prevention for cardiovascular health. She also has interests with women's cardiovascular health and is an advocate for early screening and detection.
