About Ali Shahcheraghi, MD

Dr. Ali Shahcheraghi is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. He joined Inova in 2021 and has been practicing since 2009.

Dr. Shahcheraghi has a special interest in the management of cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension, coronary artery disease and CHF, pulmonary disorders such as asthma and COPD, and endocrine diseases such as diabetes and thyroid disease. He became interested in internal medicine because of the variety of the pathology an internist encounters. Dr. Shahcheraghi’s goal is to help his patients better understand their medical conditions and achieve their health goals.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Shahcheraghi worked as a primary care physician at a community health practice and as a clinical instructor of medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
