Dr. Adam Hodes is a primary care physician board certified in internal medicine. He joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2014.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Hodes worked at a technology-driven primary care startup with a membership-based model. He valued the additional time with his patients, which enabled him to curate proactive, personalized health plans aimed at optimizing long-term wellness.

Dr. Hodes has 12 years of clinical experience emphasizing preventive medicine that is founded in evidence-based practice. His approach prioritizes compassionate communication, ensuring that patients feel informed and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Following residency, Dr. Hodes moved to the Washington, DC, area and worked in academic primary care, teaching medical students and internal medicine residents and receiving multiple teaching awards. He values the opportunity to build meaningful longitudinal relationships with his patients to help them achieve their healthcare goals.

A native of New Hampshire, Dr. Hodes currently resides in Annandale, VA, with his wife, two young children and two cats. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside, cheering for his New England sports teams, playing golf and attending live music concerts.
