Roberta Tinch, MHA, FACHE, is President of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and System Administrator of the Musculoskeletal Service Line.
Roberta is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than a decade of experience leading hospital operations and employee relations, while developing physician partnerships that have enhanced team engagement and the patient experience.
Prior to joining Inova, she was Chief Operating Officer at HCA Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA, a 300-bed hospital with complex service lines such as Comprehensive Stroke Center, Robotic Surgery Center of Excellence, Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Inpatient Rehab. Her previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at HCA Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Spotsylvania County, VA, and Associate Chief Operating Officer at HCA Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, FL.
Roberta has a strong commitment to communities in which she lives and works. She has extensive volunteer work with the YMCA, the March of Dimes annual March for Babies and has a seat on the University of Mary Washington’s College of Business Advisory Board.
She holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.
