Some Inova care sites have additional closures for the holidays, which will be noted on the relevant location pages.

Inova Gynecologic Surgery is a subspecialty practice focused exclusively on providing minimally invasive surgical and medical options to patients with benign (non-cancerous) conditions. Our providers are fellowship-trained, high-volume experts in the field of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) with the ability to treat almost all gyn conditions through a laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, or vaginal route of surgery.

Minimally invasive surgery offers the advantages of a both a shortened recovery AND a reduction in surgical risks/complications. We are trained in the art of in-office diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy for many uterine conditions, without the need for sedation or general anesthesia. Our surgeons are accomplished teachers and researchers. We serve as faculty for the combined Inova/Walter Reed combined fellowship in MIGS as well as the Inova Fairfax OB-GYN residency and medical students from the University of Virginia. We partner with our patients to treat common and complex benign gyn conditions interfering with fertility, the menstrual cycle, or the ability to enjoy a pain-free life.
